This Bronze Sculpture named Jiang Xue, designed by the young sculptor Tan Qiang, and installed in Qingdao World Expo. It is a special custom bronze sculpture that Mr. Tan designed for his hometown Qingdao with 5m high and surface patina finish. The overall sculpture is in the form of a common camellia tree, and there are two flower gods in ancient Chinese mythology, Jiangxue and Xiangyu, dance around the tree in a graceful manner. The common camellia blooms in the cold winter, and its hardiness and drought resistance also symbolise a vigorous and resilient personality. Meanwhile, it was also identified as one of the city flowers at a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao People's Congress.
