Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery (KMSPKS) is a spiritual sanctuary in urban Singapore where one can learn the Buddha's teachings of wisdom and compassion; practise mindfulness; develop gratitude and bring happiness to all. 
Founded in 1921, KMSPKS is one of the first traditional Chinese forest monasteries in Singapore. Today, the monastery sits on 75,470 square metres - equivalent to the size of almost 11 football fields - and is one of the most significant and renowned monasteries in Southeast Asia. Over the years, we have grown dynamically in Dharma propagation, community involvement and religious harmony efforts. Today, we are a community of Buddhists who come together to learn, practise and share the teachings of the Buddha.

We have been commissioned to make a 4.5meters high cast bronze Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Statue with gold leaf finish in 2019 by the Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery. It was our pleasure and honor to make the sacred Statue, and we are grateful to have such chance. First our clay sculptors have sculpted a 1:1 scale clay model based on the renderings provided by Temple. After multiple optimizations of the clay model, it has been duplicated into fiberglass model for the further cast process preparation. The Statue was cast in bronze, including the lotus pedestal and staff. Gold leaf is kind of bronze statue finish, which makes the Statue look like gold-made. Now the Statue has been already shipped to Singapore and installed in the Temple. With the sunlight, the gold leaf finish is reflecting and shining in golden color as Buddha's Light.

FAQ

1. What is the MOQ?
We accept one piece as sculpture is a form of art that is different from mass goods.
2. How to place an order? Can you keep my work confidential?
When the details are settled, we'll sign a contract for confirmation as well as a confidential agreement if in need. We respect and perform copyright protection as always. We'll soon start fabrication upon deposit received.
3. What are the payment terms?
We accept T/T in advance, Western Union, Paypal.
4. What is the lead time?
It depends on the sculpture's size, details, process complexity, etc. Generally, it takes 1~2 months for small size, 3~4 months for about 8 meters high sculpture.
5. How can I know the process?
We warmly welcome you for field inspection. If not convenient to come, we'll send you pictures and videos of any progress. 
6. What is the package? How to ship the sculpture? Will there be any damage during shipping?
The sculptures are packed professionally in PE foam, air bubble film, fixed in crate or steel frame that against any possible damage. We'll buy the insurance and you can get compensation if any damage to the work. Currently, all our works arrive safe and sound.
7. Can you install the sculpture on-site overseas?
Sure, nearly all our large sculptures located overseas are installed by our workers. They are also the workers who fabricate the sculpture so that the installation is smooth and fast. With years of experience, they have high adaptability to live and work abroad.
