Artwork Description
A series of cast stainless steel artwork made by traditional lost wax casting crafts are presented to us again after the 4.0 high big stainless steel pulsing heart was installed at the University of Žilina in 2019.
Those mirror-cast stainless steel sculptures are miniature gifts, memorial artworks commissioned by sculptor Bohuš Kubinský, to gift to those who have prestige or who have contributed to the school and academics. Different from previous hand-forging crafts, they are adopted by casting method due to their miniature size. Generally speaking, stainless steel cast is the same as bronze casting. To have a 1:1 model such as a 3D printing resin model, or FRP, etc. to get negative mold first; and then duplicate a positive wax model to get a sand shell. After that, the casting process starts. For cast stainless steel sculpture we need to pour into molten stainless steel water. Welding all stainless steel castings together and finally surface treatment.

1. What is the MOQ?
We accept one piece as sculpture is a form of art that is different from mass goods.
2. How to place an order? Can you keep my work confidential?
When the details are settled, we'll sign a contract for confirmation as well as a confidential agreement if in need. We respect and perform copyright protection as always. We'll soon start fabrication upon deposit received.
3. What are the payment terms?
We accept T/T in advance, Western Union, Paypal.
4. What is the lead time?
It depends on the sculpture's size, details, process complexity, etc. Generally, it takes 1~2 months for small size, 3~4 months for about 8 meters high sculpture.
5. How can I know the process?
We warmly welcome you for field inspection. If not convenient to come, we'll send you pictures and videos of any progress.
6. What is the package? How to ship the sculpture? Will there be any damage during shipping?
The sculptures are packed professionally in PE foam, air bubble film, and fixed in crate or steel frame that against any possible damage. We'll buy the insurance and you can get compensation if any damage to the work. Currently, all our works arrive safe and sound.
7. Can you install the sculpture on-site overseas?
Sure, nearly all our large sculptures located overseas are installed by our workers. They are also the workers who fabricate the sculpture so that the installation is smooth and fast. With years of experience, they have high adaptability to live and work abroad.
